We are seeking experienced Window Fitters to join our team at Crystal Windows. The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation of windows, doors, and conservatories at various locations across London and the Home Counties. As a Window Fitter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring that installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

  1. Install a variety of window types including casement, sash, bay, and tilt and turn windows.
  2. Install doors, including entrance doors, patio doors, and bi-fold doors, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
  3. Install conservatories, including framing, glazing, and finishing touches such as seals and trim.
  4. Accurately measure and assess installation sites to ensure compatibility with ordered products.
  5. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to confirm installation details and address any client concerns.
  6. Safely handle and transport materials and equipment to installation sites.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that debris and waste are properly disposed of.
  8. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the installation process.

  1. Proven experience as a Window Fitter or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the window installation industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of window and door installation techniques, including measuring, fitting, and sealing.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment.
  6. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to installation sites across London and the Home Counties.
  7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate client schedules.
  8. Relevant certifications or qualifications in window installation are preferred but not required.
